Why Funding is Important for our cause
Spark School is on a mission to raise €700,000 to develop its innovative educational model. The school is partnering with SeedBlink, the co-investment platform for European tech startups, and external audiences to build together the future of education.
Spark’s Journey
Spark School is still a fairly new product in the educational landscape, having been launched in 2021. Since then, we are actively making a change in the life of over 80 students, from 11 different countries.
Transcending traditional classroom boundaries, we offer our students flexibility and support. They can learn what they want, when and where they want. All this, while being guided by tutors and learning journey advisors. The 4 strands-based educational model (Academics, Well-being, Global Education and Leadership) supports them in developing their soft skills as well as their technical competencies, and the Curriculum is enriched with courses that prepare them for the jobs of the future. All of these are unique features that Spark brings to the international education environment.
The Why behind our Mission
We have heard your stories, we have found our audiences, and we learned that there is a real need for our product. We took the problems, researched them thoroughly, and we created Spark. Spark is providing the type of learning experience that might not be found in traditional schooling or other types of learning models. We know very well who we are and what is our goal – to give education a different meaning.
Education should be about learning the things we like, or the skills that we plan to use later in life. Education should not mean standardised tests or no time for hobbies. And that is what we aim to fix here at Spark. Whether you want more personalised learning, or you don’t have a stable physical location, or maybe you just want more time for your horse riding lessons – we support you, no matter your goals.
And because our educational model encourages future-ready learning, we also don’t stop at traditional teaching methods. In order to achieve innovative ways of education, teenagers need to develop 21st-century skills that go beyond academics. At Spark, we nurture these skills and we aim to use variety and out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to teaching. We aim to introduce the use of AI in our platforms and to offer our students access to the latest digital tools and technologies. We believe that our future-ready teaching methods and these technologies can make a real difference in their educational journey.
Our Goal
Spark’s objective is to secure funding to support the ongoing product development, that is equipped to integrate AI capabilities through machine learning and intelligent automation. Our immediate priorities include embarking on an expansion into new markets, attracting new users, and expanding its sales and marketing teams. With the funds raised, we plan to focus on accelerating the development of these initiatives in order to achieve the growth we desire.
Until 2028, Spark is aiming to reach 40.000 students and 4.000 schools enrolled in the platform.
